Cannon Beach Oregon is famous for Haystack Rock which is a 235 foot sea-stack, jutting out along the Pacific Coast. National Geographic listed Cannon Beach as "one of the world's 100 most beautiful places." Cannon Beach is new to the accessible game and is still working on making its the beach wheelchairs easily accessible. Here are some bullet points they share which you should keep in mind prior to scheduling your trip. Reservations are definitely advised but if you're making a visit on the spur of the moment decision, you may still be able to get a beach wheelchair.

- Every attempt will be made to accommodate day-of requests; however, no guarantees can be made that the staff or chair itself will be available.
- If the wheelchair has not been reserved for a day it will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
- Hours of use are 10am to 6pm Tuesday Through Sunday
- Checkout location is at Bahama Boards 1088 S. Hemlock St

Cannon Beach Oregon has made great strides towards making the beach more accessible but currently does not yet have beach mats to allow for normal wheelchairs to make it close to the beach or an accessible dock/swimming rig to allow wheelchair users or the elderly to safely enter the water.
