Accessible Docks do for beaches and lakes what ramps with guardrails do for pools. Marinex, a Norwegian technology company, creates a product they call The Swimming Rig which is a highly engineered floating dock. This floating dock has a swimming pool in the center of it, filled with the natural water from the lake or ocean which freely passes through it as it floats, half submerged in the water. There is ramp with handrails leading up to the pool. The pool is flanked on either side with a bench underwater and a raised platform for sunning.
